The month of October will be alive with the undead when Zombie Fest 2013 brings some ghoulish events to Grand Forks! October 5: Frankenweenie & Kids Costumer Contest – 1:00pm at GuestHouse Inn and Zombie Prom from 5:00pm – 12:00am at Guesthouse Inn (fun regional bands, adult costume contest, Dance ‘til You Drop Contest, food and full bar, make-up booth, photo booth). October 17-19 & 24-26: “Neighborhood III Requistion of Doom” at Empire Arts Center. October 24: Zombie Movie Fest at Fire Hall Theatre.

In a suburban subdivision with identical houses, parents find their teenagers addicted to an online horror video game. The game setting? A subdivision with identical houses. The goal? Smash through an army of zombies to escape the neighborhood for good. But as the line blurs between virtual and reality, both parents and players realize that fear has a life of its own.

Quilting on the Red Quilt Show:

25th Annual Fargo Christmas Show:

The 25th Annual Fargo Christmas Show includes over 260 booths showcasing products hand made from across the US. Over 140 exhibitors will fill their booths with arts, crafts and baked goods that all have a touch of being hand made.
