Activities for all ages and a way to get out and beat those winter blues, events held daily through Jan. 21 include the Silver Snowflake Search, Passport to $500, Senior Luncheon, Coloring Contest, Book Bag Sale, Sleigh Rides and Sledding Party, Blizzard Bash, Chili Cook-off Contest at the VFW, and many fun activities for youth to participate in at the West Fargo Public Library. Coffee & Cocoa Crawl:

Free mug to the first 200 attendees, wristbands are $10 and can be used at all participating businesses for samples of coffee and cocoa, and also include two door prize tickets. Pick up mugs, participant maps, and door prizetickets at Sandy’s Donuts, 300 Broadway.
Anna Lee and Ruby 3 Presents Hats for 2016: A Trunk Show:

Anna Lee, well-known Twin Cities fashion leader, will present her first ever Fargo Trunk Show, which features several dozen one-of-a-kind hats, each one designed and handcrafted by Anna. Anna will also talk about her design process and offer helpful tips for those interested in the art of Millinery. Each hat will be available for purchase the night of the event.

MLK Day Celebration:

This year’s theme is “Don’t be Silent” and the day’s activities will address King’s quote, “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” Events held throughout the day, keynote speaker at 7:30 p.m. in the Centrum is Nikole Hannah-Jones, an award-winning investigative reporter for The New York Times who has spent the last four years investigating racial segregation in housing and schools and how official policies help to maintain those segregated areas.
