Some people worry about our nation’s security and some don’t. Some think that America is omnipotent and a fortress that cannot be breached. However, 9-11 was certainly a wakeup call for many sleeping folks. (Including many political leaders).

Here’s the deal. You know how scary the Ebola virus is and you know how easy it is for someone to come into our country carrying the virus and not be detected. It’s a lot easier than learning how to fly a 747 and crashing into a populated building.

These suicide bound, radical, Muslim, extremists wouldn’t bat an eye to send a dozen terrorists into our country with Ebola. They could fly in, walk in or float in a boat. No guns, no drugs, nothing to cause alarm and even if they were caught… they’d be taken to a police station, jail or other facility, where they could infect many more people. Just think how many people law enforcement are in contact with during a day.

These walking germ terrorists could store body fluids in a small spray container and spraying a few surfaces, including a salad bar in a busy restaurant, a visit to a casino, hotel, an airport, train station and so on. They would have hundreds of people exposed and spreading more of it throughout the country.

Our current leaders are trying to keep from hurting someone’s feeling by letting damn near anyone into our country and we could be on the edge of being like the African epidemic and it would be worse in a country like ours. (Where people commute from one end of the U.S. to the other on a daily basis).

All we have to do to prevent this is close the door, give the door guard a thermometer, face mask and quarantine incoming strangers, high risk and questionable people before it’s too late. Maybe it ain’t a perfect plan, but it beats no plan.

Our leaders just keep saying, “Don’t worry, we can handle it, we have a dozen or so hospitals that can handle Ebola” (Not if it’s strung all over the country).

Sending 3,000 U.S. soldiers to help an Ebola infected country sounds insane to me when we don’t really know enough about this virus… but I do know that if the drug cartel can get tons and tons of drugs undetected into this country on a daily basis, it sure wouldn’t be hard to get a dozen radical sneezing extremists in. And they wouldn’t being going to a local hospital for a checkup would they?

This is just not an issue to play politics with. We the people need to know the truth and our leaders must wake up and close the barn door, NOW.
