Last Monday, I met for coffee with Melissa Rademacher, Moorhead Center Mall’s new manager. As Melissa told me about the things that will be happening at the Mall soon, she mentioned that she’d love to have a Spring Garden Show. There didn’t seem to be one in the community. After such a cold winter, I think we all are raring to think about spring and everything that entails.

I suggested to Melissa that we could just start one. So, I put the word out, and last Friday, more than a dozen garden enthusiasts met to discuss what a Lawn and Garden Show might look like at the Moorhead Center Mall. Fun, that’s what it looks like. We made a list of people and groups that we thought would like to be a part of it. We talked about activities for kids and adults, vendors, opportunities to learn and to try out things, opportunities to connect with local Garden groups, and food.
