One of the first signs of Spring in Moorhead came in the mail last week – Moorhead Parks & Recreation’s 2014 Spring & Summer Program Guide. Yeah! (My next spring landmark is when the Moorhead Dairy Queen opens – soon!) If you haven’t had a chance to check it out – DO! And if you don’t have a copy, they have them available at a variety of places around town and an interactive version is available on the City’s website.
This issue not only includes spring and summer activities for kids, it is a great resource for fun activities for all ages. You will see the MSUM planetarium Show schedules (page 16) , RiverArts dates and activities (page 20), 2014 Events for the Comstock House (page 22), find out about a Frequent Players Card for the Meadows and Village Green Golf Courses (page 25), learn how you can rent out shelters or the Hjemkomst Center for your event (pages 26-27), learn about Gooseberry Players 2014 (The Sound of Music this year!), or just have a great chart of all the amenities in the 42 parks in Moorhead. I’ve hardly touched on the many things that you can do in Moorhead Parks and Recreation Facilities. Check it out on line, or better yet, keep a copy handy for your use all summer.
