Prolotherapy & Pain

Some years back, I had a hip go bad. I went to the doctors and got the exam, x-rays and some other tests and eventually was told, “We’ll try cortisone injection, and if that doesn’t work, we’ll try to cut off a bone spur in that hip, and if that doesn’t work… we’ll probably have to do a hip replacement.”

Meantime, Lee Swanson, a friend of mine had a torn rotator cup and was in bad pain. I told him that the only to cure it was surgery. I know because I had it done. He didn’t want to get laid up for 3 months and it is a painful thing to get over.

Well, I went back to Arizona for the winter and when spring came and I returned to the north country, he was all healed and well. I said, “Got the surgery huh?” “No” he replied, “I did prolotherapy.” He explained what prolotherapy was and it sounded too simple to make sense to me, so I just went on my way.

By now I couldn’t hardly walk, except with a cane and hurting most all of the time. Lee asked me to accompany him to the Twin Cities next time he was going, and have me try prolothearpy. I had to get my x-rays and medical records sent down to Doc Kramer ahead of time so he could see what was going on there in my hip.

I don’t really know what all he injected into my hip joint, but I think he used a couple needles or so… a little painful, but nothing too bad. Now, to make a long story short…I walked out of that office WITHOUT my cane, threw it in the back of the car, hauled it home, chucked it into the closet and haven’t needed it since.

A year or so after that…when I used to fill in on KFGO…before I became politically incorrect, I did a “Live” interview with Doctor Kramer from the Minneapolis area. He is the MD who cured me, but he also integrates modern medicine and natural medicine techniques including prolotherapy, prolozone, neural therapy and medical acupuncture.

During this hour long interview I did with the Doc, the phones went crazy with callers. Doc Kramer got new patients and I got several calls from people thanking me for the information. (I also received calls from people who got good results and no complaints.)

I guess what I’m trying to share with you is that there are alternatives to surgery for pain, it isn’t expensive and you’re gonna know after one visit if it’s gonna help you or not. It beats cortisone and other steroidal injections and its sure better that surgery.

After looking at all your medical records and hearing what your problems are, Dr Kramer has a pretty good idea if he can help you or not. This is NOT a paid commercial; just me sharing what I know worked for me and other people I talked to about Prolotherapy.
