Walls are taking shape on July 11 as construction progresses on the gymnasium being added to Robert Asp Elementary School.
The Robert Asp addition is one of three major construction projects underway in Moorhead Area Public Schools this summer. A new track and artificial turf is being installed at Moorhead High School, and Probstfield Center for Education is getting a gymnasium and eight-classroom addition.
The 11,000-square-foot Robert Asp addition and the 20,100-square-foot addition at Probstfield Center are addressing a shortage of physical education space and classroom space and providing for more equitable elementary school facilities.
