Power Bites

Power Bites – a recipe from Tyler Axness, Host of Afternoons Live on KFGO Radio.  Listen to Afternoons Live weekdays from 2-5 PM on KFGO 790 AM, 104.7 and 94.1 FM. Tyler says, “These no bake bites will power you through your afternoons. Easy to pack along for your hunting or fishing trip. Even easier to make.”

– 1 cup dry oats

– 1/2 cup peanut butter

– 1/4 cup honey

– 1/2 cup dried fruit (blueberries/ cranberries) OR replace with butterscotch/ chocolate chips

– 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

– 1/2 tsp. vanilla 

(optional) chia seeds

Mix oats, peanut butter and honey in a bowl. Add dried fruit (or chips), cinnamon, vanilla, and chia seeds (optional). Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes. Mold into bite size snacks.
