AAA North Dakota has announced one restaurant in the state has earned a Four Diamond Rating during the past 12 months. The HoDo Restaurant in Fargo received the rating for the first time. It becomes the first North Dakota restaurant to make the annual list.

The Village is offering “New Me,” a six-week group for men and women wanting to explore and improve their assertive communications skills and self-esteem. The group will be held Monday evenings beginning April 22 at The Village’s Fargo office, 1201 25th St. S.

This group experience will help you improve your communication skills and feel better about yourself by addressing the following topics:

· Assertiveness as a behavior and communication style

· Communication styles

· Boundaries

· Saying “no”

· Resolving conflict

· Assessing and developing strategies to improve self esteem.

The group is limited to 12 participants and will be facilitated by Dr. Barbara Chromy. Chromy has been a counselor with the Employee Assistance Program of The Village for over four years; she is licensed to practice in both Minnesota and North Dakota.

Public Notification of Wanted Sex Offender

FARGO, N.D. (January 22, 2013) – The Fargo Police Department is notifying the community that Gerardo Garza of Fargo has failed to maintain his registration in accordance with state law and is currently wanted for failure to register, a C felony. Garza has failed to notify the Fargo Police Department of his change in address and maintain communication with law enforcement. Garza was assessed as a moderate risk offender by the North Dakota Sex Offender Risk Assessment Committee.

Gerardo Garza

Born in 1981, 5’10”, 170 lbs., brown eyes, black hair

Last known residence: 3529 Kelly St. N. Fargo, ND

Offense Background:

Garza was convicted of Sexual Assault in 2002 in Webb County District Court, Laredo, TX. Garza’s victim was a 14 year old female acquaintance. Garza is required to register until 08/30/2027.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Gerardo Garza should contact their local law enforcement agency.

American Water Resources of ND, Inc. Not Affiliated with City of Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (January 18, 2013) – The City of Fargo would like to notify property owners that American Water Resources of North Dakota, Inc. has begun an informational mailing campaign to Fargo property owners offering water and sewer service line protection programs. The City of Fargo was recently notified by American Water Resources of North Dakota, Inc. that the mailings would be going out and it is imperative that property owners are aware that American Water Resources of North Dakota, Inc. is a publicly traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company that has no affiliation with or endorsement from the City of Fargo.

Earring, a Level III Sex Offender, has moved to 1122 2 ave S #3, Fargo, ND.

Born in 1987, 6’3”, 190 lbs.

Brown eyes, Black hair

Offense Background: Earring was convicted in Morton County ND in 2006 of Gross Sexual Imposition, class B felony. His victim was a 15 year old female acquaintance. Earring is a lifetime registrant.

Cory Paxton Harmon

Harmon, a Level II Sex Offender, has moved to 123 15 st N, Fargo, ND.

Born in 1979, 5’4”, 200 lbs.

Green eyes, Brown hair

Offense Background: Harmon was convicted of Luring a Minor by Computer and Possession of Prohibited Materials (child pornography) in November 2011, in Richland County District Court, North Dakota. His victim in the luring charge was a law enforcement officer posing as a 13 year old female. Harmon is required to register as a sex offender until 11/3/2036.
