The Spuds started strong, scoring 21 points in the first quarter while holding the Warriors scoreless until the second. Ryen Ness digs the ball during the Volleyball match on September 17 against Detroit Lakes. The Lakers took a tight first set 25-23. However, the Spuds found their rhythm in the second set, winning 25-18. Riding that momentum, they claimed the third set 25-21 for a 2-1 match lead. In a thrilling fourth set that went back and forth, the Spuds prevailed with a final score of 30-28, securing a 3-1 victory over the Lakers.
