Moorhead High School celebrates Homecoming Week

Elinneus Davis and Grace Perry were named Moorhead High School’s homecoming king and queen at coronation on Sept. 26. Grace Perry, daughter of Mike and Angie Perry, plays basketball and volleyball, is in the National Honor Society, and plays in Orchestra. She is also the treasurer for Key Club. Elinneus Davis, son of Susan Smith and Elinneus Davis, is on the Moorhead Football team. 

Other members of the homecoming court are Olivia Dahlberg, Elleanor Fahrendorf, Bella Hammer, Bria Holm, Greta Homuth, Thea Kunka, Dunya Rashid, Sophia Swenson, Amya Zapata, Caleb Alderson, Jack Arnold, Ben Hrdlicka, Michael Haugo, Tate Horan, Oliver Judd, Jack Nichol, Malik Smith and Karson Wendt. 

Moorhead High School’s homecoming parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 before the football game vs. Sartell at 7 p.m. The parade begins on 20th Street South at 24th Avenue South and will end at 12th Avenue South. 

The Moorhead High School Hall of Honor induction ceremony to induct Cordelia Blount, Randall Flick, Robert Litherland, Tom Shimabukuro, Al Swedberg and Charles Watson is at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 1 at Moorhead Area Public Schools Operations Center. Call the activities office at 218-284-2347 for tickets.
