Mario Valdez, a paraprofessional at Moorhead High School, received the ESTR Award, named for the Enderle Severson Transition Rating, at the Community Transition Interagency Committee’s Transition Expo for students with disabilities in October. This award is given annually to an individual who has been instrumental in ensuring youth with an Individual Education Plan are equipped to successfully transition from high school to adulthood.
