Thursday, April 11:
Lego Club, 6:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. All ages and abilities are welcome to come make their own Lego creation at our Lego Club. Supplies provided to build, but make sure to bring your imagination!

Music in the Parlor w/Concordia College, 6:30 pm @ Comstock House at 506 8th St. S. In a partnership with Concordia College, we’ll be hosting classical music recitals at the Historic Comstock House. Recitals start at 6:30PM, but doors open at 6:00PM for light refreshments and house tours of one of Moorhead’s most historic homes. $0-$5.

Author Eric Bergeson, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Learn how to grow plants in the cold climate of the Northern Prairie. Bergeson will share from his latest book, “Successful Gardening on the Northern Prairie,” which is an easy-to-read, common sense manual for gardeners.

Saturday, April 13:
Storytime, 11:00 am @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Stories, songs, and poems on a weekly theme plus a craft at the end! Program runs about an hour. Free.

Find-a-Hobby: Knitting and Crocheting, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Fiber artists and enthusiasts of all experience levels are welcome to explore new techniques and share knowledge with Erin of Prairie Fiber Arts. Learn something new with other artists and crafters in the community! Free.

Not another Teen Book Club, 3:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. “Scythe” by Neal Shusterman has taken the young adult literature world by storm. Shusterman’s world is a fantasy/dystopia where only the scythes can end life. What’s the worst that could happen? Not Another Teen Book Club has to know, so join us for snacks and discussion! Free.

Masterworks Concert, 4:00 pm @ Memorial Auditorium at Concordia College. Concordia voice faculty, choirs and the orchestra will perform the Masterworks Concert. Free.

Monday, April 15:
Ask a Techspert, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Come to an open
computer lab to practice your technology skills. Staff will be available to assist and answer your
questions. Free.

Art & Culture Commission Meeting, 4:30 pm at City Hall.

Origami Club, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Practice the art of paper folding with fellow origami enthusiasts. Basic materials are provided. All are welcome. Free.

Arc Games & More, 6:30 pm @ CCRI at 2903 15th St. S. Join us for games & activities, that appeal to children, teens and adults, using art, music, magic, dance, physical activities, yoga, science, crafts, cooking, various hobbies, community groups, and more. Free.

Horizon & Moorhead High Jazz Band Concert, 7:30 pm @ Moorhead High School.

Classy & Trashy Book Club, 7:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join us at 7:00 every third Tuesday of the month for the Classy and Trashy Book Club where we aim to run the gamut of the library collection! We’ll discuss “The Night the Lights Went Out” by Karen White in April. Free.

Waste Art DIY, 5:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join us in a crafting and creating event – for all ages! Partnering with Clay County Environmental Services, we will be creating projects using recycled materials for the Waste Art Exhibit. Your finished product can be entered into the Waste Art Exhibit, being shown at the Moorhead Public Library from April 22nd through the 27th. Free.
