*Holiday Story and Craft Events for Kids
A variety of winter holidays are celebrated this time of the year and the Fargo Public Library wants to highlight some of them at our Happy Holidays Story and Craft events. Kids in grades K-3 are invited to join us for stories, songs and a small craft to make and take home. Sessions are planned at all three library locations and are set for the following dates and times:
* Thursday, Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Dr. James Carlson Library
* Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Northport Library

Come to Moorhead Library on Saturday, December 15 at 11 a.m. for a demonstration on two Scandinavian favorites and bring your own favorite holiday treat to exchange! *Silent Auction
Friday, Dec. 14th, from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Emerald Room within Fargo’s Green Mill Restaurant.
Dirk Kringen is a 40 year-old West Fargo, ND resident who was diagnosed with APL Leukemia on September 12, 2012.
Dirk was hospitalized for a month, and will now require months of out-patient treatment at the Roger Maris Cancer Center in Fargo N.D. Unfortunately, Dirk has been unable to work since being diagnosed, making life very difficult to cope with are the ever mounting medical costs. The Silent Auction proceeds and monetary donations will help defray some of these expenses.

Every Tuesday evening, Moorhead Library staff sets aside an entire computer lab strictly for young people to use, whether they’re working on a project or just playing games.
