Beyond the Red Kettle Tour is a tour of the Grand Forks Salvation Army’s food pantry, Emergency Disaster tools and building. We will provide a free lunch along with information on the Grand Forks Salvation Army and our services provided to our community.

Lenten Fish Fry:

Location: St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moorhead

Cost: Adults $10, children 6-12 years $4, children 5 and under free

This is our Annual Lenten Fish Dinner sponsored by the Charitable Concerns Committee of St. Joe’s Church. Take out is available. All proceeds will go to individuals in need in Cass and Clay Counties.

Red River Singles St. Patrick’s Celebration:

Celtic Festival:

Location: Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead

Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm

The 12th Annual Celtic Festival 2015 is a celebration of the rich culture of the seven Celtic Nations featuring the intriguing history, arts and traditions of Brittany, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Galicia, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Enjoy lyrical Celtic music played by great bands from the community and region. Watch dancers’ impressive footwork. The festival features entertainment stages, several presentations about folk traditions of the past and present, activities booths and Celtic foods.

Annual Family Fun Carnival:

Location: Harwood Community Center

Cost: $5 per child (ages 2-12 yrs)

Mustache Baby Storytime:

St. Patrick’s Parade:

Location: Downtown Fargo

Time: 2:00pm

Free parking in city-owned lots and side streets off Broadway, no parking on Broadway, staging for parade begins at noon in parking lot behind Old Broadway on NP Avenue. Parade will start at 2 p.m. and head north on Broadway and end at Sixth Avenue North.

Science Academy:

Location: West Fargo Public Library

Explore some spectacular science with Dr. Graeme and the Jus for fun, exciting experiments and the Concordia Science Academy. Join us for fun, exciting experiments and activities involving science. Ice Skating Revue:

Location: Coliseum in Fargo

Date: March 14 – 15

Time: Saturday at 7:00pm, Sunday at 2:00pm

Cost: Free

At the end of each year’s skating season, students from each of the Park District classes present an “Ice Skating Revue.”

Great Rides Bike Share Community Launch Party:

Location: Great Northern Bicycle Co in Fargo

Date: March 15

Time: 2:00 – 4:00pm

Great Rides Bike Share set to launch this spring in Fargo. The fleet of 101 bicycles is assembled, founding memberships are on sale, and final preparations are under way to install the software and stations. Please join us to ‘kick the tires’ of Great Rides Bike Share. Staff will be on hand to give demos on how to use and access the Great Rides Bike Share system, founding membership will be on sale at a discounted price of $65 dollars, and light refreshments will be served. The event will end with a community bike ride and all 101 bikes will be take an inaugural ride and populate the bike share system. Founding members will get priority to pedal these bikes first, so get signed up today atwww.greatridesbikeshare.com.

St. Patrick’s Day Dinner:

Serving corned beef and cabbage, traditional Irish stew, soda bread and chocolate potato cake.

St. Patty’s Day Party- Luck of the Irish:

Cost: Free
