The Red Raven Espresso Parlor hosts a unique independent art/craft fair once a month. It is a mix of local artists ranging through all mediums and crafters with a variety of handmade work. It is free to attend and in the areas best alternative family friendly coffee shop

One World One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure:

Location: MSUM Planetarium

Time: Saturday at 11:00am, Sunday at 2:00pm

A brilliant spectacle of light and color as the furry friends watch the stars twinkle over Sesame Street. Children attending the show can interact as they watch, draw constellations and count the time it takes the sun to set. The show aims to nurture a child’s natural sense of wonder about the night sky while forging cross-cultural connections, and bridging kids across nations through a common bond in learning about the sky together.

The Comstock House: Then and Now:

Location: Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County at 202 1st Ave. N. in Moorhead

A free presentation about the historical house on Eight Street South in Moorhead, which was built in the 1880s by S.G. Comstock.

World War II Film Series: Across the Theatres:

Location: Fargo Public Library – Main

Film historian/collector and former Concordia College film professor Tony McRae along with film critic Matt Olien will host a free film series featuring a selection of iconic World War II films for four Sundays in January. Each film will be followed by a brief discussion. Free popcorn will be served. Dates & titles in the series are January 4: From Here to Eternity (1953); January 11: 49th Parallel (1942); January 18: They Were Expendable (1945); January 25: The Third Man (1949).

A New Home in a New Community:
