Iranian captive, North Dakota native, journalist and bestselling author Roxana Saberi spent months in captivity in Iran on espionage charges. The U.S. State Department including the Secretary of State at the time Hillary Clinton was heavily involved with her case. In her book, she describes her experiences. At 6:15 pm she will have a reading from her book, describe a little about her experiences first hand, and will have a question and answer period.

Bike and Kite Day:

Activities will include kite flying, and a Bike Rodeo. The West Fargo Police Department will be sponsoring a Bike Rodeo where youth can learn how to ride their bikes safely and practice using hand signals. Refreshments will be served. Free kites will be given out to the first 100 kids courtesy of Luther Family Ford. Mike Gee with Wings on Strings Kite Club will be flying large, colorful kites.

“Dark”:
