Just thinking

I read an article from an independent, non-partisan organization that stated the top 50% of America’s big money earners pay around 97.75 of our country’s income tax. They further state that the bottom 50% of Americans pay only 2.25%. (2009)

Now, for you who would like to tax the rich MORE, think about it. They are already paying most of the taxes for us. Yes, maybe a smaller percentage of their earning, but it’s a BIG amount.

IF we decided to tax them more, many may set up residence in other countries, especially if their increase involved billions. Don’t you think that if more people were working and paying taxes that would help? And what about all those who feed off the system, don’t work and sponge off the backs of those who DO work? Would it make a big difference?

Increasing the tax on the rich to feed deadbeats just doesn’t make sense. If you’re smart enough to get rich, more power to ya, that’s the American way.

Why do we elect a president with no foreign relations experience, zero military experience or knowledge to deal with Radical terrorists? And he decides that we will sit with them and talk with them and show them how nice we really are; and they will forget that they ever wanted to kill us all! It ain’t working, is it?

Mandating employer-funded health care for every worker, raising the minimum wage and giving every person unlimited healthcare, medicine and transportation to the clinics… that’s going to help the economy?

Let’s give amnesty, Social Security, free education, free lunches, free medical care, bilingual signs and guaranteed housing to anyone entering our country illegally too. Now that’s helping our financial state, isn’t it?

And so it came to pass that employers facing spiraling costs and ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and laid off workers. Others simply gave up and went out of business and the economy sank like a rock dropped from a cliff. The banking industry was destroyed. Manufacturing slowed to a crawl and more of the people were without a means of support.

Are we to just become a Socialist state and a second-rate power? You may think this a fairy tale, but it’s not. It’s happening RIGHT NOW and no, I am not a Republican telling you to vote for Romney, just a concerned voter who REALLY thinks we need change and a lot of it. I just don’t know how.
