We recently had a “fall dessert” bracket challenge during It Takes 2 and, of course, apple crisp won. But, in a surprising twist, both pumpkin options were beat out early and in a close second was peach cobbler!? So, in honor of all the pumpkin haters out there, here’s a peach dessert recipe from our friend, Karleen Anderson. She shared her Mom’s Peach Pie.
Mom’s Peach Pie
Single Crust
6 peaches, sliced
6 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp tapioca
1 tsp cinnamon
Mix all, put in a pie shell and pour over a 1/2 pt. whipping cream. Bake at 350 degrees for an hour. And, if the peaches are really juicy, add more tapioca.
