So, Paul Ryan is in and everyone is taking shots at him over what he is going to do or not do. He’s just now been picked as a potential Vice President, who knows what he is really going to do. We don’t know what Romney’s going to do or Obama either for that matter. I am still trying to figure out what Obama did to make America better since he’s been in. But I also don’t have much of a feeling that Romney is going to do anything great either if elected.
Why do our final candidates for president spend their time taking pot shots at each other? Why don’t they tell us about their plan… you know… just truthfully say what they are going to do and tell us what the outcome will be and prepare us for what is going to happen.
I have been seeing commercials for various candidates and IF what they say about each other is true, they should all be disqualified as a candidate. And why are political people allowed to lie? There should be a federal law against saying something untruthful when you are running for a government office.
I heard a TV political ad saying, “Indeed, President Obama did make that promise by saying, “I’m pledging to cut the deficit we inherited in half by the end of my first term in office.” Now, is it true or is the press lying? If it was a lie by the press, make them accountable and if Obama made that promise and didn’t keep it, “Man up” to us and explain why not.
There was an ad recently about a North Dakota political candidate, something about the use of a plane that wasn’t supposed to be done. Then I hear the opposition had to quit running the ad because it wasn’t true. That’s the crap I am talking about. If someone did something illegal, arrest or prosecute them and if someone lied to make it sound bad for someone and it wasn’t true, again, prosecute them. Why do we all have to listen to this back and forth misrepresentation of facts?
We deserve the truth from candidates and we certainly deserve to hear what their plans are for us and they need to FOLLOW UP on what they promise.
I have been watching and listening to these political candidates and waiting to hear the “plan.”
I hear one say the other is out of touch with the American people, then the opponent says the other one is out of touch with the American people. Wow.
I am afraid that most of our leaders are really “out of touch” with the American people. “Talk, talk, talk.” How about doing what is good for the people instead of what’s good for YOUR financial future!
