Moorhead Spuds Weightlifting Spaghetti Feed and Silent Auction: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free will donation. Proceeds go to support both male and female weightlifters grades 7-12. Location: Moorhead American Legion, 303 30th St. N., Moorhead.
Monday, January 20

City of Moorhead offices: City offices will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and will re-open on Tuesday, Jan. 21.
Garbage/Recycling: Will be picked up on Tuesday, Jan. 21. All other garbage/recycling pickup that week will be on normal days. The Monday change may cause early or delayed collection on Tuesday; set your trash out by 4 am to ensure it is collected.
MAT Buses: Routes will run normally, and the Ground Transportation Center will be open. Administration offices will be closed.
Game Night for Adults: 6 to 8 p.m. Join us to play games and chat during the chilly months. Bring your favorite card or board game, or try one of ours. Refreshments will be provided. Moorhead Public Library, free.

Lakes and Prairies Solar 101: 6:30 to 8 p.m. This co-op is a collaboration of individuals and organizations that are interested in purchasing solar together. Altogether, this co-op provides information to help understand solar. The vendor-neutral solar experts will help with your energy questions. Also, A team that solicits and reviews proposals from solar companies. First, Solar United Neighbors requests bids on your behalf. Then, a committee of your fellow co-op members meet to assess the pros and cons and select the best installer for the group. Location: Moorhead Public Library, free.
