Seed collection and informational event: 9 to 11 a.m. University of Minnesota Clay County Extension and Clay County Soil and Water District are hosting a seed collection and informational event.  Come and learn more about native plantings in the area and why they are important for healthy ecosystems. «A Wild Path» with author Douglas Wood: 6:30 p.m., Lake Agassiz Regional Library will host a tour of author visits featuring Minnesota author Douglas Wood. Attendees will hear all about his new memoir, A Wild Path, as well as his experience as an author, artist, musician, naturalist and wilderness guide. Wood is the creator of classic children’s books including Old Turtle and A Quiet Place as well as titles for adults including Deep Woods, Wild Waters and Paddle Whispers.
