Moorhead Chapter of the National Stuttering Association meeting: 6 p.m., Murray Hall 210 at MSUM. There will be a live event with a Zoom option. Anyone who stutters, family members, significant others and friends who support people who stutter are welcome. Food and Community with Beth Dooley and Noreen Thomas: 6:30 p.m., free. Featuring renowned Minnesota cookbook author Beth Dooley, appearing alongside celebrated Minnesota farmer and advocate Noreen Thomas. Dooley and Thomas will discuss the impact of food on the community, including the role played by the availability of locally grown food, the use of practices that regenerate soil and the impacts on health, environment, economy and more. Dooley’s latest books, Appetite for Change: Soulful Recipes from a North Minneapolis Kitchen and Minnesota’s Bounty: The Farmers Market Cookbook  will be featured as well as Noreen Thomas’ experience growing in the local food revolution.
