Thursday, July 18:
Indoor Street Fair, 10:00 am @ Moorhead Center Mall. Beat the heat and come join indoors for our Indoor Street Fair, July 18, 19, & 20. There will be a wide variety of arts, crafts, and food vendors throughout the mall on all three days. Musicians will also be playing throughout the event. Free.

Downtown Fargo 44th Annual Street Fair, 10:00 am @ Broadway in Fargo. Amongst the 40 food vendors, 150 artists & crafters and 9 alcohol vendors, additional experiences to seek out are horse and carriage rides, petting zoo, face painting, wildlife from the Red River Zoo and so
much more. Thursday 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, Friday 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, and Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Minnesota Legislative Wrap Up, 11:30 am @ Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead. We’re thrilled to host and welcome Minnesota Governor Tim Walz at this Chamber event, where he will share highlights from this past legislative session. Walz will be joined by District 4 legislators Senator Kent Eken, Representative Paul Marquart and Representative Ben Lien. $25 for Chamber members, $40 for non-members.

Summer Splash, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Municipal Pool at 800 19th St. S. Jump in for an afternoon of fun with free inflatable games, a diving contest, and so much more to help you stay cool. Free.

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Baseball Night, 5:00 pm @ Jack Williams Stadium at 1137 Elm St. N. in Fargo. IBEW 1426 will be hosting a baseball night on July 18th at Jack Williams Stadium. Post 2 will be playing a double header against East Grand Forks, with the first game starting at 5pm. Free admission and door prizes, so bring the family and enjoy the game on us.

FM Modern Sewing Guild July Meeting, 6:30 pm @ MSUM Art Gallery. Zip, zip, hooray. We’re learning zippers. Many self-sewn garments call for this closure, and it’s often easier to insert it at an early stage of sewing process. Whether you’re new to zipper insertion or just need a few pointers, we’ll be covering several types to help you get over your zipper hesitation. Materials will be provided. Free.

Friday, July 19:
West Fargo Packatahnas Dance Team Car Wash, 11:00 am @ First International Bank & Trust at 1350 13th Ave. E. in West Fargo. Free will donations are accepted and all proceeds will go toward the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Please support your community and get your car clean for the weekend.

Saturday, July 20:
Street Fair Car Show, 8:30 am @ Island Park in Fargo. Presented by North Star Mustangs, $10 registration per car and spectators free. Music by the Front Fenders sponsored by United Automotive Tech and Price Rite Home Improvement.

Red River Market, 10:00 am @ Folkways Plaza at 63 5th St. N. in Fargo. Shop from 75 local vendors including produce, meat, eggs, bakery, pantry items, household goods, art, and more. Grab breakfast, lunch, coffee, or a drink while enjoying cooking demonstrations, live performances, educational family activities. We accept SNAP/EBT and match up to $10 per person.

Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Event, 12:00 pm @ MSUM Planetarium. Join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. We will be premiering two new shows CapCom GO. and Max Goes to the Moon. We will be also having a variety of fun crafts and activities. Children $3, adults $6.

Dana Elken Terrell Author Visit, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Dana Elken Terrell will visit the Moorhead Public Library to discuss her self-help book “When I Do Relationships So Right, How Do They Go So Wrong?”, which uses Bowen Theory and EMDR therapy to help target hidden patterns in relationships to break negative habits. She will share practical concepts you can apply to any stressful relationships in your own life. Free.

Origami Club, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. All ages and abilities are welcome to come practice the skill of paper folding with fellow Origami enthusiasts. Basic materials are provided. Free.

Tuesday, July 23:
Moorhead Public Housing Board Meeting, 11:30 am @ City Hall.

Earth, Wind and Solar Farm Day, 3:00 pm @ Doubting Thomas Farms at 12056 20th St. N. in Moorhead. Noreen and Lee Thomas, pioneers of organic agriculture in the Red River Valley, are hosting an event focused on alternative energy. Make a bike-powered smoothie, eat treats from a solar oven, and check out an electric car. Bring your energy bill to learn ways to cut your costs. A locally-sourced meal will be served at 4:30. Free.

Moorhead Farmers’ Market, 3:30 pm @ Moorhead Center Mall. Get Fresh. Go Local. Items for sale include fresh vegetables, fruit, baked goods, honey, jams, jellies, pet products, hand crafted items, food trucks, music, and so much more.

G.O.T – Gathering on Tuesdays, 5:30 pm @ Trollwood Park at 3664 Elm St. N. in Fargo. Each G.O.T event starts with a party that includes face painting, an art project, a DJ and so much more. Don’t forget your chairs because following each party, you’re invited to stick around for a feature movie on the big inflatable screen or a live concert in the park. And the best part is the event is free.

River Arts, 5:30 pm @ Memorial Park at 210 8th St. N. in Moorhead. There’s always something to enjoy at Moorhead RiverArts. Each night features free horse-drawn carriage rides, inflatable games, food, hands-on activities, and more. All concerts begin at 6 pm. July 23: Performance by Lars and Joe Pony Show and River Keepers Fishing Clinic. Free.

PAWS Walk, 6:00 pm @ Rheault Farm at 2902 25th St. S. in Fargo. Come out with your family, friends and furry companions for this 1/2-mile fun walk and pet party. This is a fundraising
event for the homeless cats & dogs of Homeward Animal Shelter. All proceeds directly benefit the shelter animals, providing them with food, shelter and veterinary care while they await their forever homes. Learn about Robots, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Learn about robots and how they are used throughout the solar system, plus enjoy a robotics demonstration by the Moorhead High School Robotics team. Free.

Hawaiian Beach Blast, 5:30 pm @ Rendezvous Park at 1055 32nd Ave. E. in West Fargo. Come out and say Aloha to your neighbors and friends during a fun filled evening at Rendezvous Park. Dance to your favorite hit music with Platinum Plus DJ. Other free activities will include a limbo contest, face painting, kite flying, carrel car ride and giant lawn games. Inflatable games and pony ride will be available for $2.00. Hotdog, chips and beverage will be sold for $1.00/plate.
