Recovery Engaged Communities (REC) Office Hours: 10:00 – 11:30 am. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. A representative from Recovery Engaged Communities will be available to strengthen and empower individuals in the recovery community by creating hope, healing, and sustainable change through support, education, and advocacy. We approach stigma like a crossroads, with a lens to advocate for change. Free.

Baby Bounce: 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Songs, stories, and action poems for infants through preschoolers and their caregivers. Program runs about a half hour including playtime and chatting with other caregivers. Free.

Performance of “Decked.”: Friday and Saturday 7:30 pm and Sunday 2:00 pm. Theatre B at 215 N. 10th St. S. in Moorhead. On Christmas Eve, Celia’s only child, Kit confesses that she would rather live with her dad and his much younger partner beginning tonight, the couple’s wedding night. Left alone feeling powerless and enraged, Celia’s eccentric sister Louise shows up to help her out of her despair. Celia wakes up in an alternate dimension where the sisters review her past, present, and potential future. With a nod to the classics “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “A Christmas Carol,” Decked.” is a seriocomic holiday play that explores themes of letting go and moving on. Tickets $10-$25.

Cookie & Candy Walk: 10:00 am – 12:30 pm. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 1005 2nd Ave. S. in Moorhead. Catholic Daughters of the Americas will be selling a variety of homemade Christmas cookies and candies during our annual Cookie and Candy Walk. Premade trays will also be available.

Fargo Masonic Vendor & Craft Show: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. Fargo Masonic Center at 1405 3rd St. N. Come to the vendor & craft show and support small businesses. The show will be from 11-3 and lunch will be served from 11-1.

LEGO Club: 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join us for a weekly program to challenge kids’ creativity as they build amazing structures using LEGOs. This event is geared towards ages 5-10. Free.

Understanding and Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors: 6:30 – 7:30 pm. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join us for a presentation by the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter to learn about the impact of Alzheimer’s. Topics include identify common behavior triggers, decoding behavioral messages.

Lakes & Prairies Community Action Partnership Office Hours: 2:30 – 4:30 pm. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Lakes & Prairies Community Action Partnership (CAPLP) provides a wide array of programs and services that are designed to meet the unique needs of the children, families and seniors that live in the communities we serve. Moorhead Annual Stormwater Public Meeting: 4:00 – 4:30 pm. A public open house will be held virtually by the City of Moorhead and the Buffalo Red River Watershed District to discuss the City’s and the Watershed’s Stormwater Pollution Prevention Programs (SWPPPs).
