The Concordia Orchestra Tour: 2:00 – 3:30 pm. Memorial Auditorium at Concordia College in Moorhead. The Concordia Orchestra from Concordia College will present multiple concerts on its 2023 tour. The program includes pieces by Maria Grenfell, Rebecca Clarke, and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, as well as Edward Elgar’s Variations on an Original Theme “Enigma,” Op. 36 — an entertaining series of musical character sketches imbued with a still-unsolved musical mystery. Award-winning indigenous author Marcie Rendon will share insights about her life, the process of writing her books, and the driving forces behind creating the Cash Blackbear mystery series, which has received prestigious recognition. During her presentation, she will also conduct a reading from her latest book, “Sinister Graves.” At the conclusion of her talk, Marcie will be available for book signing. Free.
