MSUM BFA Senior Exhibition Opening Reception, 4:00 pm @ MSUM Art Gallery. A reception celebrating the BFA Senior Exhibition #2, which opens March 25 and runs through April 17. Free.

FM Ballet Storytime, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Children of all ages are welcome to join the Moorhead Public Library and the Fargo Moorhead Ballet with this fun storytime! FM Ballet dancers will read a story and teach ballet dance moves! Program runs about half an hour.

Guest Faculty Piano Recital, 7:30 pm @ Christiansen Recital Hall at Concordia College. Daniel Lin on piano will present a Guest Faculty Recital. Free.

Performance of “The Comedy of Errors,” 7:30 pm @ Theatre B at 215 10th St. N. The Knaves Iambic present William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. Founded in 2013, The Knaves Iambic are regional homeschooled students between 11 and 18 years old. We specialize in Shakespeare for the challenge and the lush language. $5-$8.

Performance of “The Comedy of Errors,” 7:30 pm @ Theatre B at 215 10th St. N. The Knaves Iambic present William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. Founded in 2013, The Knaves Iambic are regional homeschooled students between 11 and 18 years old. We specialize in Shakespeare for the challenge and the lush language. $5-$8.

The Modern Trio, 7:30 @ Christiansen Recital Hall at Concordia College. Concordia’s Cultural Events will present a performance by The Modern Trio, three extraordinary musicians – Concordia faculty and Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra members Sonja Bosca-Harasim, Russell Peterson and Jay Hershberger – on violin, saxophone and piano. $10-$20.

Red River Spring Market, 10:00 am @ Moorhead Center Mall. Join us for a spring farmers’ market at the Moorhead Center Mall. This indoor event will feature pantry items, household goods, baked goods, art, hot food, and beverages. Shop with your favorite Red River Market vendors while enjoying live music and more. Free.

30th Annual Woodlands & High Plans Powwow, 12:00 pm @ Memorial Auditorium at Concordia College. This year’s theme is “Building Strong Foundations. Inspiring Resilient Leaders.” $3-$5.

Find-a-Hobby: Homebrewing, 2:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Discover a new hobby this year by sampling activities with local hobby professionals and enthusiasts at the Moorhead Public Library. This week, Dustin of Prairie Homebrewing Companions will teach us about brewing, craft beer and the passionate community that supports it. Try out this hobby for yourself and meet other area enthusiasts. Free.

Screening of the Documentary “Being Mortal,” 6:30 pm @ Trinity Lutheran Church at 210 7th St. S. After the screening, you can participate in a guided conversation on how to take concrete steps to identify and communicate wishes about end-of-life goals and preferences. The discussion features Dr. Tracie Mallberg, medical director with Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Chess Club, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join chess players of every level for a chess skill share. Chess boards and books will be provided. Free.
