Thursday, June 8

Baby Bounce: 10:30 am – 11:00 am. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Songs, stories, and action poems for infants through preschoolers and their caregivers. Program runs about a half hour including playtime and chatting with other caregivers. Free.

MSUM Oceanarium Open House: 12:00 – 8:00 pm. Langseth Hall at 600 11th St. S. at MSUM in Moorhead. Celebrate World Oceans Day at the MSUM Oceanarium. Tours will be available from noon to 8 pm Thursday, June 8, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for 3 pm to commemorate the facility’s recent expansion. Visitors can handle horseshoe crabs, get up close and personal with stingrays and learn about the importance of oceans and their creatures.

Park It.: 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Lindenwood Park at 1905 Roger Maris Dr. in Fargo. Meet the art staff at the park to create arts and crafts to take home. The fun travels weekly to different neighborhoods. All supplies are provided for this free program and adult supervision is required.

Concert for Kids: 2:00 pm. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join musician and composer Gaelynn Lea for an educational children’s concert featuring her original music and learn about using a loop to record sounds and how to add layers to music you are playing. Free.

Friday, June 9

Water Safety Day: 9:00 – 10:30 am. Davies Recreational Pool, Madison Pool & Splash Pad

Roger G. Gress Northside Pool, and Southwest Recreation Pool. Fargo Park District pools are teaming up with pools across the metro to hold Water Safety Day. Free.

Midwest Kid Fest: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm. Island Park at 302 7th St. S. in Fargo. Stop by Island Park and enjoy a day filled with music, laughter, and bright colors as children play and learn at the 24th Annual Midwest Kid Fest. All activities are free.

“Berry Farm Adventures” Performance: 10:30 am – 11:30 am. Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Join us for a special presentation of “Berry Farm Adventures,” a one-act children’s play. This event is geared toward kids ages 10 and older and may contain subject matter sensitive to some audiences. Free.

Sunday, June 11

Gaming Days: 12:00 – 4:00 pm. Broadway Square in Downtown Fargo. Bring your talents to Broadway Square’s monthly summer Gaming Days and challenge a fierce competitor to a new or old favorite game. Free.

Join us for cultural performances, artist-led demonstrations and activities, inflatables, yard games, a photo station, free carriage rides, and more fun for everyone. Hot dogs, brats, chips, and soda will be available for sale from The Lions Club of Moorhead. Tuesday special activities: Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome + Nordic Night, Fargo Spelemannslag (Hardanger fiddle), and art activity w/ not_hid_ (Dala horse vinyl stickers). Free.
