Women in the Director’s Chair Film Series: Zero Dark Thirty (Kathryn Bigelow, 2012, rated R) 2 p.m. The job of film director was a man’s job for decades. Join us as we honor four female directors who broke the glass ceiling and made terrific films. FM Kicks Band’s Big Band Bash: 1:30 to 5 p.m. An afternoon filled with big band jazz, featuring 90 musicians performing in five different groups. Highlights of the event include performances by the El Zagal Shrine Big Band from Fargo, the Beachfront Big Band from Detroit Lakes, the Dakota Jazz Band from Fargo, the Classic Swing Band from Grand Forks, N.D., and the FM Kicks Band.
