Moorhead Public Service is nearing the midpoint of a major project on Center Avenue in downtown Moorhead. Cast-iron water mains installed 70 years ago are being replaced with modern PVC pipes. The project also includes replacing brick water mains going back to the 1940s. The underground work, along with repairs to the Center Avenue bridge, are expected to be complete by mid-July.
