F-M Audubon Chapter Meeting, 6:30 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. The monthly meeting of the F-M Audubon chapter will feature a presentation by Victoria Schwarz, who will share her experience of urban treks and guided tours through the tropical animal and nature wonderlands of Southeast Asia. The agenda also will include a report from Dakota Audubon (state office), a Bird Share session, and other regular items. All are welcome.
Saturday, March 7:
Gnome Carving Class, 9:00 am @ In the Chips at 303 21st St. N. in Moorhead. Hosted by Red River Valley Woodcarvers. Carve a gnome out of basswood. Pokémon Day, 12:00 pm @ Moorhead Public Library at 118 5th St. S. Visit our Pokémon gym and celebrate your favorite pocket monsters with a variety of activities. Watch “Pokémon: Detective Pikachu” (©Warner Brothers, rated PG), trade and battle with your handheld games, beat your friends at trivia, and represent your team in a contest to win the Pokémon Go gym. Bring your cards, games, and poké balls and join the fun. Free.
Ribs for the Roof, 12:00 pm @ Sons of AMVETS Fargo at 1001 1st Ave. S. in Fargo. Rib lunch will be served in place of burgers to raise money for roof repairs. $12 will get you ribs, potato, and a side. Noon-3:00 pm Meat Raffle. Karaoke to follow at 4:00 pm.
Click Clack Moo: Cows That Type presented by FM Community Theatre, 2:00 pm @ Askanase Hall at NDSU. The animals on Farmer Brown’s farm have had enough. They work all day to provide milk and eggs, but when their request for electric blankets to warm the drafty barn is ignored, action must be taken. Join the Cows, Hen, and Duck – and their trusty typewriter – as they engage in peaceful protest to improve their working conditions. $8-$12.
Thalea String Quartet, 7:30 pm @ Gaede Stage at MSUM. From living rooms to concert stages around the world, the youthful, energetic members of the Thalea String Quartet aim to connect with audiences on a musical, emotional and personal level, from first-time listeners to string quartet aficionados. $12-$28.
Fargo Antiques & Repurposed Market, aka “The FARM” will be hosting a Cabin Fever event featuring hard ciders and live music from noon until 6 pm. This event is free and open to the public.

Care Givers Unite on Anxiety, 7:00 pm @ Grace United Methodist Church at 1120 17th St. S. in Moorhead. Caregivers Unite is a small group that meets to provide support to each other.
