Cabbage and Sausage Casserole

I am enjoying my new computer and recently changed our internet services by bundling our telephone, television and internet. The problems that I was having with my old computer was the internet, I thought the computer just had too much information that made it so slow. It is nice to sit at the computer and get my “work” done so much faster. I use the term work loosely as my time at the computer is some work, but mostly surfing. I do have documents that I enter for minutes or agendas for the various groups in which I participate. Recently I tried to call my medical provider for an appointment but their computers were down. It seems that we are dependent on so many electronic devices that I wonder how we ever got along without them in the past. I have to admit that I do not text; I have done a little texting but I prefer to talk and anyone who knows me will attest to that fact.

I prepared this recipe last week after seeing it on Facebook; it is a keeper.

1/2 Stick of butter or margarine

1 Medium head of cabbage, shredded

1 Large onion, diced

1 Can Rotel, original or 16 ounce can diced tomatoes

1 Pound sausage, cut into 1” pieces

Salt and pepper

Melt butter in large pan; add onions and cabbage. Stir and cook for about 5-10 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; cover and cook 25 minutes
