Ripening produce, fragrant baking, honey fresh from the hive — shopping Moorhead’s farmers market on Tuesday afternoons is a delight for the senses. Vendors’ tables line the parking lot of the Hjemkomst Center, stacked with everything from garden-fresh peppers and new potatoes to oven-fresh breads and treats (with or without gluten), jams and jellies, herbs, dog treats and Alaskan salmon.
Sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department, the market continues weekly through Sept. 27. It takes place from 3 to 6 p.m. each Tuesday.
