THE VILLAGE FAMILY SERVICE CENTER TO COMBINE LOCATIONS IN FARGO

FARGO – The Village Family Service Center is planning to merge its two Fargo facilities to achieve improved efficiency, integrated company culture, and better resource utilization. The organization will sell its 1201 25th St. S. building and relocate staff and current operations to its office down the street at 2701 12th Ave. S.

The Village has served the Fargo-Moorhead community for over 130 years and has locations across North Dakota and western Minnesota. The 1201 25th St. S. building opened in the 1980s and has a rich history. Although the decision was difficult, The Village Family Service Center is excited to bring staff together and have one centralized location for its Fargo services.

“We remain committed to providing the best possible service to our community. We understand the invaluable role that our donors, supporters, and clients play in enabling us to carry out our mission, and we are truly grateful for their unwavering support. We are confident that this decision will help us continue positively impacting the lives of those we serve,” President and CEO Kelly Olson stated.

The Village aims to ensure a seamless transition for clients and staff. The 1201 25th St. S. staff will move to The Village’s nearby location at 2701 12th Avenue South after the building sells. The 2701 location is currently the primary building for most clients, and staff will communicate when appointments shift to the new location.

BETHANY AUXILIARY SELLING GERANIUMS

FARGO – The Bethany Auxiliary is conducting its annual community-wide geranium sale this spring.  Red, pink, salmon, and white geraniums are on sale in 4-1/2 inch pots.  The beautiful locally-grown zonal plants are being provided by the Bloomfield Garden Center in Sabin, MN.

Orders will be taken through April 28 and the plants will be available for pick-up by mid-May.  Each plant will be sold for $6.00, a portion of which will be used by the Bethany Auxiliary to purchase items to enrich the quality of life for residents at Bethany.

The Auxiliary Geranium Sale helps raise money to provide items for Bethany residents – such things as devotional booklets, newspaper subscriptions, blanket warmers, video streaming services, communication devices, and support for the Chaplaincy program, just to name a few.  These purchases enrich the lives of all residents at both Bethany campuses.
