A Community Rally Against Hate Crime and Bias Speech

A group of around 100 people gathered on the mall outside the Fargo Civic Center on Aug. 2 for A Community Rally Against Hate Crime and Bias Speech. Attendees took shelter under umbrellas and held signs as human rights advocates spoke in favor of diversity, tolerance and passing legislation to protect against hate crimes. Moorhead City Council member Sara Watson Curry read a statement from mayor Del Rae Williams, who was unable to attend.
