Minnesota State Community and Technical College unveiled a new $6.5 million transportation center and celebrated 50 years on its Moorhead campus on Aug. 17. The transportation center will accommodate up to 150 students in the Diesel Equipment Technology and Automotive Technology programs and prepare them to work with area employers. The campus is known for developing custom training services to better connect its graduates with local industry leaders.
“We are very proud of the technical skills and professional attitudes of our graduates and of the dedicated and talented faculty who teach in our programs,” said Minnesota State Community and Technical College’s Chief Academic Officer Carrie Brimhall.
More than 8,000 students are enrolled in Minnesota State Community and Technical College’s 70 career and liberal arts programs. Classes are held online and at campuses in Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Moorhead and Wadena.
