Easter Eggstravaganza:

Location: Scheels in Grand Forks

Date: April 2

Time: 5:00 – 7:00pm

Cost: Free

Stop in any time between 5:00 – 7:00pm to solve riddles and follow clues around the store while you complete fun Easter activities. This event is free and open to all ages 0-12.

The Last of the Dragons Play:

Location: North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton

Date: April 2

Time: 7:00pm

Cost: Free will donation

A children’s comedy presented by the NDSCS Drama Department, free admission, freewill donation or food pantry items will be accepted, play is appropriate for all ages.

Once Upon a Reader: Moo!

Location: Probstfield Center for Education in Moorhead

Date: April 2

Time: 9:30am and 1:30pm

Cost: Free

Presentation and puppet show about the book Moo! by the book’s author David LaRochelle and illustrator Mike Wohnoutka. The book won the 2014 Minnesota Book Award in Children’s Literature. Both events are free and open to the public, each session last about 45 minutes.

Recovery Drumline Self-Help Group:

Location: reGROUP in Moorhead

Date: April 3

Time: 6:30pm

Cost: Free

Drumming using pads and sticks that also brings wellness. Feel yourself come alive through drumming. Make new friends in a safe environment. Equipment provided. Led by Randy Stetson, LADC.

Minn-Kota Feline Club Cat Show:

Location: Red River Valley Fair Grounds in West Fargo

Minn-Kota Feline Club Cat Show. Admission at the door is $6 for adults, $4 children 6-12, free for ages 5 and younger.

Potluck and Games:

Haven’t got a “Clue”? Need to Go Fish? Don’t want to be a Solitaire today? Join your friends in recovery and their family members for a potluck and games, and you won’t be board! Bring what you can for food, fun, and fellowship.

Come to the library for an egg-citing fun time. Join us for an egg story, egg craft, egg hunt, and egg-celent treats. This event is open to all ages. No registration is required.

Easter Dinner:

Location: Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo

Date: April 5

Time: 12:30pm

Cost: Free will offering

Menu: Ham, Potatoes, vegetable, bun and cookies.

School’s Out Craft:

Location: West Fargo Public Library

Date: April 6

Time: 3:00pm

Cost: Free

School’s out, so let’s craft! Join us for a fun afternoon craft. Open to all ages.

“Coming of Age” Reception:

Location: Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead

Date: April 7

Time: 5:00 – 7:00pm

Cost: Free

Steve Hoffbeck, history professor at Minnesota State University Moorhead, will give his illustrated presentation on “1968: The Most Powerful Year in a Turbulent Decade.” Refreshments will be served; free and open to the public; the exhibit is on display through June 21.
