Veterans Memorial Celebration:

Location: Bonanzaville in West Fargo

Veterans Memorial Celebration to honor the region’s veterans, military and their families. Activities are free and open to the public. Activities include booths from various veterans associations and related service organizations, a barbecue, social and musical entertainment until 6:30; speaker will be Virginia Kraushaar, former colonel with the North Dakota Army National Guard.

Street Faire at the Lakes:

Location: Downtown Detroit Lakes, MN

Time: 11:00am – 8:00pm

Cost: Free

Six city blocks featuring over 125 juried artists, free kids’ crafts, face painting, live entertainment, fair food, bingo, street dance and more.

Dewey Kvidt Memorial Duathlon:

Location: Choice Health & Fitness in Grand Forks

Date: May 31

Time: 6:30 – 10:30am

Race Day Schedule: 8 a.m. – Duathlon (5K run, 25K bike and 5K run), 8:30 a.m. – 10K and 5K race start, 9:30 a.m. – 10K and 5K awards and door prizes, 10:30 a.m. – Lunch, 10:30 a.m. Duathlon awards and door prizes.

Dog Wash:

Location: Globe University in Moorhead

Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm

Cost: $10

Globe University is having a dog wash by appointment only. Please call 218-422-1029 to schedule a time for our Vet Tech students to give your pooch a spring cleaning! Must have proof of current vaccines.All proceeds will go to a local animal shelter or rescue.

Fargo Garden Society Plant Sale:

Location: Elim Care Center West Side Parking Lot in Fargo

Preview plants starting at Noon with the sale beginning at 12:30. No early sales but do come and check out the selection ahead of time. Plants go fast and we are usually done by 2pm so don’t be late or you might miss the fun.Proceeds go towards our ongoing projects at the Ronald McDonald Houses, Elim’s Healing Garden, and our college scholarship program.

Join us for Savor & Stroll, Fargo’s newest tradition! You’ll support a smart new approach to ending breast cancer as you stroll through the spacious Bluestem Center for the Arts and nibble healthy tastings offered along the route. The course will finish with an all-out festival starring local favorite Post Traumatic Funk Syndrome.Every dollar raised through this fun-filled event will be invested in cutting-edge research, supported by the Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Foundation and conducted at the Roger Maris Cancer Center, to help advance breast cancer prevention and treatment.
