Worth thinking about

Sometimes others say things that are really worth repeating. I can’t really glorify the writers or the people responsible, because they are sent in e-mails or posted on various sites, but I gotta share some of them with you.

Back when I studied the Holocaust in high school, I remember thinking, how did Hitler get over six million people to follow along blindly and not fight back? Then I realized I am watching my fellow Americans doing the same thing today.

Liberal Paradise: Free food, free health care, free lodging and no one has guns except the guards… It’s a typical prison.

We really need gun control legislation… I am sure it will be as successful as drug control legislation.

The average response time for a 911 call is 23 minutes. The average response time for a .357 magnum is 1,400 feet per second.

I’d like to know why well-educated idiots keep apologizing for lazy complaining people who think the world owes them a living. (John Wayne)

Criminals obey gun control laws the same as most politicians obey their oath of office.

I am coming to your country to spit on your culture, and demand that you change your lifestyle to suit my religion… and if you criticize me for doing that, then you are an imperialist, western bigot. (Unknown Infidel)

The NRA isn’t the enemy, it’s the hardware store! In 2011, 323 people were killed with so-called assault rifles, while 496 people were killed by hammers.

I know a fellow who voted Democrat because he’s pro-choice… except for gun control, schools trade, health care, union membership, Chinese made light bulbs, plastic bags, Wal-Mart and what kind of foods we can eat.

If all Americans want is security they can go to prison. They will have enough to eat, a bed and a roof over their heads. But if an American wants to preserve his dignity and his quality as a human being, he must not bow his neck to any doctorial government. -Dwight D Eisenhower

No society ever thrived because it had a large and growing class of parasites living off those who produce.

Back in the 50’s, many high schools had shooting ranges. Students even brought their own rifles to school. What changed in our society that we could trust such activities then, but not now?

Washington, Jefferson, Madison and Hamilton supported the right to bear arms. Hitler, Castro, Stalin, Amin and Lenin opposed the right to bear arms. Who do you trust?

We must reject the idea that every time a law is broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions. –Ronald Reagan
