“The Twilight of the Golds” Performance:

The controversial dramedy tackles the issue of fictional genetic testing that can not only determine physical or mental disorders, but even the sexual orientation of an unborn child. When Suzanne Gold-Stein has a genetic analysis done by her husband’s lab on their unborn child, she discovers that although she has a perfectly healthy baby, the child will be born gay, like her brother David. She now must decide whether to keep the child, or to have an abortion. Her family, especially David, whose sexual orientation has never been fully accepted by his conservative family, then enters a crisis about love and acceptance as she makes this difficult choice.

Relive the days of big hair, platforms and rock and roll. The first ever Laser Fest 2014 will take place at the Minnesota State University Moorhead Planetarium. The Planetarium will showcase thirty laser shows in six days, ranging from education, family oriented, and classic rock laser programs. Audiences can sit back, listen to great music, and watch colorful laser images dance across the Planetarium’s dome. Choose from shows like, Laser Beatles, featuring fifteen Beatles classics; Laser Led Zeppelin; or Laser Safari, an incredible ecological adventure that explores the secrets of two amazing ecosystems, the African Serengeti and South America’s Amazon Rainforest. The shows last 40 to 45 minutes.

Dead Derby! – FM Derby Girls:

Attention, zombies, vampires, ghouls, and other creatures of the night: our next bout is just for YOU! The FM Derby Girls proudly present live roller derby, on March 8th, at their Night of the Living Dead Derby! Fans are encouraged to dress up as zombies and other undead creatures for our free photo booth and the Thriller dance contest during halftime – impress us with your moves and you could win an FMDG prize pack! A portion of proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Great Plains Food Bank, feeding those in need throughout North Dakota and Clay County, Minnesota, for thirty years

The 11th Annual Celtic Festival 2014 is a celebration of the rich culture of the seven Celtic Nations featuring the intriguing history, arts and traditions of Brittany, Cornwall, Isle of Man, Galicia, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The festival features entertainment stages, several presentations about folk traditions of the past and present, activities booths and Celtic foods.

Relay For Life Kickoff :
