Part of our Incubator Series, Theatre B will be launching a new work by “B favorite” playwright David MacGregor, writer of Vino Veritas. Scrooge MacBeth, or “A Shakespearean Christmas” takes the meaning of “the show must go on” to a whole new level. When only four actors are left standing after an outbreak of food poisoning, they must entertain an expectant audience in order to save their financially imperiled theatre.
Lions Christmas in the Park:

The 11th Annual Lions Christmas in the Park will open Nov. 23rd. Visitors can take a drive through scenic Lincoln Park, located off of Belmont Road and 13th Avenue South, and enjoy holiday lights displays created by local business and organizations. All proceeds will be distributed by the Grand Forks Lions Clubs to local charities and community projects.

Celebrate the season of giving this holiday season by planning a visit to Santa Village. Santa Village, located on a 15-acre enclosed farm site, is a non-commercial village where children and adults can make holiday memories with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Enjoy the winter wonderland from the Saturday after Thanksgiving until the day before Christmas Eve. Daily activities including a visit with Santa, live reindeer, model train displays, arts and crafts projects, family activities, and light displays.

Surround yourself in the songs of the season and fill your heart with holiday cheer. The choirs of the UND Department of Music invite you to the second annual Winter wUNDerland holiday concert. This holiday extravaganza will feature more than 250 of UND’s finest musicians, performing a collection of timeless holiday music, from popular holiday songs to classic carols and everything in between.

Drew Carey is a stand-up comic, actor and producer who had the distinction of having two hit shows simultaneously: the long-running comedy, “The Drew Carey Show,” which ran from 1995-2004, and the improv/sketch show, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” on which he was host and a producer. The success of that show led to the creation of “Drew Carey’s Improv All-Stars,” an improv troupe that performs in showrooms across the country. The Comstock House is an 1882 Victorian Home with the original furnishings of Moorhead pioneer Solomon G. Comstock.
