TO HERO FOR USED MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

FARGO, ND- September 17, 2013 – It’s been two years since their last visit, but the evening of September 16, Orphan Grain Train arrived at HERO, Healthcare Equipment Recycling Organization and received used medical equipment and healthcare supplies. The two organizations have a long history together providing essential supplies to those in need.

Orphan Grain Train is a Christian volunteer network that shares personal and material resources with needy people in America and the world. Grain Train volunteers gather donations of clothing, medical supplies, food, Christian literature, and other aid to meet real needs. HERO has provided Orphan Grain Train with numerous pallets of healthcare supplies and equipment like walkers, wheelchairs, and crutches.

Volunteers from Nebraska who were on their way home from Minot picked up wheelchairs and other equipment along with three pallets (roughly 1,200 lbs.) of supplies. These will go to Orphan Grain Train’s warehouse to be distributed to those in need both here in the United States and around the world.

HERO collects and redistributes donated healthcare materials to benefit those in need. To learn more about donating your used medical equipment to HERO or how to receive healthcare supplies, visit www.HEROFargo.org or call 701-212-1921.
