Ras. Mashramani and Maggie Eighteen of Metropolarity will discuss aspects surrounding the work their crew does with zine making, futurism, and community building. There will be a screening of the movie “Rez” directed by Dominique DeLeon, along with a Q&A with members of the crew afterwards. Rez tells the story of a young Anishinaabe teen living on the Leech Lake reservation in Minnesota trying to care for himself and his young sister. This is a kid friendly event.
