Jeb Bush to Keynote Voices of Vision

Fargo Moorhead, ND/MN (September 3, 2013) – The Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber is proud to announce Jeb Bush as its fourth Voices of Vision speaker. An American politician who served as the 43rd Governor of Florida for almost 10 years, Bush will speak on October 31 at the Ramada Plaza & Suites and Conference Center.

Prior to his tenure as governor, Bush served as secretary of commerce for the state of Florida, promoting Florida’s business climate worldwide. During his time as governor, Bush championed a number of issues, including education, healthcare and immigration, as well as managed crisis response to the eight hurricanes that hit Florida during his time in office.

Bush currently heads a consulting company whose clients range from technology start-ups to Fortune 500 companies where he offers comprehensive strategies to overcome difficulties by remaining focused on what matters most.

Bush serves as Chairman for the Foundation for Excellence in Education, which focuses on transforming and providing an education system that maximizes every student’s potential for learning and prepares all students for success in the 21st century and as Chairman for The National Constitution Center, America’s first and only nonpartisan, nonprofit institution devoted to the U.S. Constitution, its ideals and its legacy of active citizenship. He is the co-author of Immigration Wars: Forging an American Solution.

“Bush has firsthand experience which will be directly applicable to our members,” said Chamber President and CEO Craig Whitney. “He has dealt with natural disasters during his time in office, similar to our current issue with spring flooding in the Red River Valley. He is a champion of education, immigration and workforce issues, topics that are essential to the discussion in shaping our metro’s future. He will be an excellent addition to our Voices of Vision lineup.”

The Chamber’s Voices of Vision series is designed to bring world-thought leaders and cutting-edge business visionaries to the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo community.

Voices of Vision will be held from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. on October 31 at the Ramada Plaza & Suites and Conference Center. Cost to attend the luncheon is $55 for Chamber members and $75 for general admission. To register, visit www.fmwfchamber.com or call 218.233.1100.
