Street Dance & Picnic at the Plains:

From 3:00 – 5:00pm, Children of all ages can make and take a free art project. At 5:00pm,
the street in front of the Museum will be closed off for a picnic-style dinner. A beer garden will also be available. From 7:00 – 10:00pm, The Cactus Blossoms will be performing on the street. This up-and-coming band is currently touring the United States with their old-style musical blend of Hank Williams and The Everly Brothers.
“Oklahoma” Performance:

A performance of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s first collaboration – the show that set the standards and established the rules of musical theatre that are still being followed today. Set in a Western Indian Territory in the early 1900s, the story features a high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys and follows the love story of Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl.
“A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum Play” Performance:

Throw your name in the hat for a chance to tell your 5 minute or less story, or just listen. The theme for the evening is, “It Seemed Like A Good Idea,” the evening’s sponsor is Fargo Rocks!, music by Warren Christensen, cash bar available, judges decide a winner, who gets $1 for every Fahrenheit degree (the warmest temp of that day) in downtown Fargo, as reported by Valley News Live’s Storm Team.
Art & Wine Walk 2013:
Location: Downtown Grand Forks and East Grand Forks

Stop by either the GuestHouse Town House hotel in Grand Forks or the Blue Moose Bar & Grill in East Grand Forks between 1 and 4:30 p.m. to purchase map, which lists all the participating downtown businesses that are hosting a regional or local artist. Some businesses may even provide a snack or have a performing artist located outside. Most locations will serve a wine sample for participants over the age of 21.
At 5 p.m. bring your map to the Wrap Up Party, held at the Empire Arts Center, and turn it in to be eligible for one of the many prize bags given away. There will also be champagne and appetizers provided by the GGFCVB.
German Folk Festival:

It’s time for tea! Create a teapot and teacups from clay that are both functional and sculptural. You will create a teapot set using the basic ceramic building techniques such as a pinch pot.
