Every Friday, mid-April through mid-September, River Cities Speedway will be alive with the sights and sounds of Premier Racing! Outlaw Sprints, Late Models, Midwest Modifieds and Street Stocks will all vying for the checkered flag on one of the region’s best 1/3-mile dirt tracks.

Events include grand opening of exhibit “Up in Arms: The Role of Guns in America,” Vietnam Veterans 5K/10K Run, parade at 11 a.m., barbecue picnic, Jason Huneke Show at 7 p.m. (from “America’s Got Talent”), films at noon and 3 p.m., horse drawn wagon rides, clown, food, music, train rides, pet adoption event from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., historical figure scavenger hunt and more. Cody Conner Memorial Festival Featuring Nicholas David:

Cody Conner (1982-2012) was a talented musician and artist from the Fargo-Moorhead area. His legacy will be remembered through the 2nd Annual Cody Conner Memorial. 100% of the profits from this event will go to Cody’s Legacy Foundation and stays in the F-M area. Nicholas David was most recently a finalist and fan favorite on NBC’s Season 3 of The Voice. David is a vibrant, dynamic, and multi-talented singer/songwriter/pianist from Saint Paul, MN.
