Is it just me or is Christmas almost here? We finally had some weather that resembles winter, and this year is coming to an end fast.

Most colleges are winding the fall semester down or are already finished. The tournament that my organization hosted was a success and we ended up with four totes of food for the needy.

I took some time and went to the Phineas and Ferb Live show this past Monday with my daughter, and what a show that was. I love taking time and just spending it with my kids, individually. I make it a priority to do this as often as I can. With my schedule, I do not always get the opportunity to spend the time I would like to with them. The show we went to is based off of the Disney show Phineas and Ferb. If you have not seen the show, you need to take some time and watch it. I was not an immediate fan when I first saw the show, but I fell in love with the randomness and the Perry the Platypus story line.

I am a huge James Bond fan and so the Perry the Platypus story line, which is loosely based on the Bond concept, including the use of the Bond “spy” music and the whole evil doctor that wants to take something over, in this case the “Tri-State area.” The battles between these two characters are always just a fun thing to watch for me. So, my little girl and I went to the live show and it was just an awesome time. I am not much of a musical person, but as you watch the show you cannot help but like the music and the show is based around the music. The music writers on this show are very talented and could give Weird Al a run for his money for sure.
