Veterans Day is right around the corner and many events are taking place.
Thursday, November 7th, 4pm-6pm. The Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation is having a open house. The Radisson Blu Hotel is hosting. Food, drinks will be available along with prizes that can be won. Please come out and learn about all the great things they do.
Friday, November 8th, 7pm-11pm. The CVMA is hosting its first Annual All American Beard and Mustache Competition. The event is being held at the East Grand Forks American Legion. Thousands in prizes, food, vendors, raffles.
Monday 11, November-Veterans day. Dozens of generous businesses have free or discounted offerings for Veterans. Plus several events are taking place.
1. MSUM Veterans are holding several events checkout their Facebook or call (218) 329-6040 for more.
2. Red River Valley Veterans Concert Band, the most patriotic band. They are playing all over. Visit their Facebook to see where you can catch them.
3. AMVETs, Fargo and West Fargo VFWs will be having events, please see their Facebook for times.

5. VA.Gov, search for Veterans Day.
A couple days before this writing B-52s, Abraham Lincoln carrier group and an F-15 Squadron were quietly scrambled to the Mideast. This is in response to aggressive Iranian actions. These packages of ships and planes have been a prelude of war the last forty years.
If a few seconds can be set aside for our military deployed also include those veterans from years past. Especially those that are dealing with personal demons and health issues.
