MOORHEAD – Just in time for the Fargo Zine Mini Fest, the Moorhead Public Library will host a Zinester Meetup, offering aspiring and established zine-makers and indie comic creators the opportunity to work on their projects. Anyone looking to learn is welcome and the library will provide materials and tools.
A Zine (pronounced “zeen”) is a self-published, non-commercial print work that is usually produced in limited batches covering a number of topics including music, art, memoir, politics or more. The Moorhead Public Library’s Zinester Meetup will be held Tuesday, October 29 at 7 p.m.
The Fargo Zine Mini Fest, scheduled November 9 from 1-5 p.m. at the Red Raven Art Space, is not affiliated with the Moorhead Public Library.
