From the Kitchens of Amy & JJ
This isn’t just a recipe kids love to eat — but Amy’s kids love to make it. It’s always fun to find a simple recipe kids can make themselves. It is such a confidence boost. And the deep dish pizza lovers in your house will love it.
If you encourage the kiddos to make them themselves, they will be very proud as they watch everyone enjoy something they made. Of course, a grown-up always helps getting the pan into and out of the oven!
You will also note, too, this is a very budget-friendly recipe. A little goes a long way.
Mini Biscuit Pizzas
Ingredients –
Canned Biscuits
Tomato or Pizza Sauce (we use pizza sauce)
Shredded Cheese (we use mozzarella, but use your favorite cheese!)
Mini Pepperoni (or your favorite pizza topping)
Directions
Preheat the over to 350 degrees.
Coat a muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray or butter. Place one biscuit into each muffin spot, pressing down to create a well in the center of the biscuit. Spoon in pizza sauce and top with cheese and pepperoni.
Bake for 12 minutes, until crusts of the mini pizzas are golden brown.
